The interim tasks at Christ Church Episcopal Las Vegas were:
1. Improve relationship with Bishop and Diocese. Initiated warm and collegial relationship with Diocesan Council, Bishop, Diocesan Treasurer, local clergy, and Interim Bishop
2. Come to terms with recent past with staff turn-over and training challenges. Instituted new bookkeeping software and procedures along with training new staff. Guided process for 5 years worth of financial audits. Created context in which persons who had oversight responsibility could ask questions and get answers to most of them.
3. Prepare for arrival of new rector. Helped profile committee create honest and encouraging profile. Provided recent photographs. Helped design new website. Clarified position and responsibilities of staff and parish officers. Creatively managed dramatic staff changes including retirements and forced resignations. Instituted cross-training process so that vacancies would not be so traumatic.
4. Discern new leadership. Helped expand leadership for altar guild. Recruited new parish treasurer (2).
